Atwater, CA - July 1, 2008 – Valley TechLogic, Inc. today announced the acquisition of Sacramento-based Seismic Computer Management, a leading provider of managed business computer service and support.
The acquisition of Seismic Computer Management will help further Valley TechLogic’s strategic mission, to provide enterprise-class computer management services to small and medium businesses throughout California.

Today, Adam Bielanski, president, of Valley TechLogic, Inc. announced the acquisition of high end networking consulting company Jumpstation Internet, Inc. Valley TechLogic will now be extending their service territory from Merced, CA to Fresno, CA. The clients of Jumpstation Internet have been notified that Valley TechLogic will now be providing their networking services and support. “Valley TechLogic embraces the same commitment to training, quality driven support, and customer expansion of I.T. in the small to medium business market…clients can rest assured that they are in excellent hands,” states JSI founder, Michael Gaskin.
To ensure that Valley TechLogic remains the leader in information technology support, employees are acquiring the latest certifications in Microsoft, Novell, and Linux operations.
Valley TechLogic has now acquired two technology companies this year. The first acquisition took place in the Spring with MercedNet, Inc., a large Internet Service Provider in the San Joaquin Valley. In response to market demand, owner, Adam Bielanski, formed VTLNet. VTLNet took over the failing ISP and continued offering excellent service through the complex transition which included a complete redesign and engineering of the wireless network. “We are in a growth mode right now” states Bielanski, “our customer base historically has been medical professionals, with the acquisition of JSI, we now have a greater private sector business customer base.”
Valley TechLogic has been in operations for two years. With over 250 customers, Valley TechLogic is among the largest IT providers in the area. The first order of business is to begin servicing these customers and then look to hire more regionally based technicians. Local Technology Company provides High-Speed Internet Access to Mercednet Customers
Valley TechLogic is proud to announce it will be providing high-speed wireless Internet service to customers formerly served by Mercednet in Merced and Atwater.
“After MercedNet announced they were pulling their wireless service we realized an opportunity to help the community. It is a valuable service that we didn't want to see disbanded and unavailable to the people of Merced and Atwater , as high speed Internet access is becoming a necessity rather than a commodity,” stated Adam Bielanski, owner of Valley TechLogic.
Valley TechLogic is a technology company located in central Merced . Currently, Valley TechLogic provides computer and technology related services to residential and business customers. Some of their residential offerings include automated ‘SmartHome' solutions for both home and commercial sites including lighting, motorized blinds, HVAC controls, fans, AV equipment and sprinklers. All this can be integrated into a single system allowing any button, motion sensor, contact, remote control, or even a computer to control any of the devices.
Other business services include IT and network managed services, hardware and software installation, disaster prevention and recovery, networking, web development and hosting, mobile computing, and telecommuting solutions.
Valley TechLogic will be assisting current wireless Internet users in the transition from Mercednet's service to theirs. They plan to implement new 900MHz non-line-of-site equipment in order to improve service and coverage. The current system is running on a mix of the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies. The main difference is the coverage area. “The 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies have limitations with interference and signal loss due to trees, buildings and other obstacles. If there is little line-of-site, the signal will falter. With 900MHz, obstacles become of little importance. It also provides a more stable, reliable connection,” Bielanski said.
It is important for customers to realize this service is not like cellular telephone service in any way. “The connections are strong and service is wonderful”, states Bielanski. “We are using an Iowa consulting firm, hindsight wireless consultants, with over 5 years' experience in this technology. Their parent company owns an ISP offering this service to over 1,000 customers. We are excited to use them to assist with our design, build out and implementation.”
Valley TechLogic plans to introduce new pricing and speeds to be more competitive with the area's current and ever-changing market. Existing Mercednet customers will experience a seamless transition to the new service as well as keep their current amenities such as email, content filtering, spam protection, and virus scanning. Future plans may include expanded territory – possibly to Cathey's Valley, Mariposa, Chowchilla, and Los Banos. The changeover will occur between February 25 th and March 15 th.
